There is no limitation in the number of attempts you give in MHT CET examination. So, no matter what course you're pursuing right now, you can give attempts in MHT CT examination and try your luck in B.Tech. Also, you can also give JEE mains examination upto 3 attempts. So, try to give all the important engineering entrance examination.
