As per your query I would like to tell you that at the time of admission in any college they will ask for your original migration certificate and transfer certificate which they will keep with themselves for few days for verification purpose. So as you are saying that after taking admission you want to take part in open counselling then at the time of counselling also you will require  the already submitted documents. What you can do is that please don't submit original documents untill you are fully satisfied with the college and then take part in other counselling modes.
