can I join merchant navy if I had maths+commerce in class 12th

No.

Eligibility criteria for bachelor merchant navy courses:

For bachelor Merchant Navy courses, candidates must have completed Class 12 with Science stream and Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

The minimum marks requirement is 60 per cent.

The minimum age requirement for this is between 17 to 25 years.

Hello student I'm sorry to inform you but no you can't pursue Merchant Navy after completing class 12 in commerce stream as eligibility criteria says - Candidates must passed or appearing class 12 with physics chemistry and mathematics with minimum 60 percent marks from a recognized board.
