Hello,

The College Board has prescribed the syllabus for both SAT reasoning test and SAT subject test.

As per the official SAT syllabus 2021 the reasoning section consists of Evidence-based reading, writing, maths and Essay. The essay section is optional. The SAT subject test is conducted for a number of subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Maths, French, German, Italian and others.

Number of sections in SAT (Reasoning) Test :

Evidence-Based Reading and Writing,Reading Test,Writing and Language Test,Mathematics and Essay (optional).

Number of Subjects in SAT Subject Test : 20
And the subject matter of SAT remains to be of academic level.
