All India Merchant Navy Entrance test is going to happen in Oct'19 and the application for AIMNET for this new entrance date will start from June'19 onwards. However the last date to apply for G.P Rating is 30th June.

The Eligibility criteria as per the official website is given below :

Eligibility Criteria for GPR (Engine rating)   

Educational Qualification: Candidates have Passed 10th (High School) with any stream.

Height: 5 Feet's.

Weight: 55 - 90 Kg. (As Per Height)

Age Limit: 17 - 27 Years.

Medically Fitness: Fully medically fit (No any fracture or any big operation in body) & No Color Blindness (Fit As Per MS 2000 Rules). 

Note: Students of B. A. (Persuing & Finals) can also apply but their age limit 27 Yrs, NIOS board pass students can also apply

Eligibility Criteria for GPR (Deck Rating)      

Educational Qualification: Candidates have Passed 12th (Intermediate) minimum 50% with PCB & PCM. 

Height: 5 Feet's.

Weight: 55 - 90 Kg. (As Per Height)

Age Limit: 17-27 Years.

Medically Fitness: Fully medically fit (No any fracture or any big operation in body), Eye Sight should be 6/6 & No Color Blindness (Fit As Per MS 2000 Rules).

Note: Students of B.Sc & M.Sc (Persuing & Finals) can also apply but their age limit 27 Yrs, NIOS board pass students can also apply. 

Eligibility Criteria for Deck Cadet for OOW leading to Australian CoC ) 

Educational Qualification: Candidates have Passed 12th (Intermediate) minimum 50% with PCB, PCM & Commerce

Height: 5 Feet's.

Weight: 55 - 90 Kg. (As Per Height)

Age Limit: 17-27 Years.

Medically Fitness: Fully medically fit (No any fracture or any big operation in body), Eye Sight should be 6/6 & No Color Blindness (Fit As Per MS 2000 Rules).

Note: Students of B.Sc, M.Sc & B. Com (Persuing & Finals) can also apply but their age limit 25 Yrs, NIOS board pass students can also apply. 

Eligibility Criteria for GPR (Fitter/Welder/Electrician)          

Educational Qualification: Candidates have Passed 10th (High School) & ITI Diploma of 3 Years. 

Height: 5 Feet's.

Weight: 55 - 90 Kg. (As Per Height)

Age Limit: 17-27 Years.

Medically Fitness: Fully medically fit (No any fracture or any big operation in body), No Color Blindness (Fit As Per MS 2000 Rules). 

Only Male candidate can Apply for this Entrance Exam, Female's are not eligible to Apply for this Exam. Multiple Application will be rejected.
