Engineering Physics is a unique branch of engineering discipline with a combination of physics, mathematics, electrical engineering and other advanced technology subjects. It is study of basic scientific principles in designing an equipment that includes electronics, electro-mechanical systems used in measurements, communications as well as acquisition of data. Graduates in Engineering Physics are provided with a strong base in the science & physics with engineering and are prepared to find solutions for complex technological problems in nuclear science, aerospace, computing, etc.

 In India one can get you promising job in the government organisations like the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), and National Physical Laboratory, and similar organizations. Teaching and research is yet another option. There are some institutions with centers funded by the central government to carry out research for central and state governments.
