Hello,

Yes, you can take part in CLAT counselling even if you passed through a supplementary exam. But make sure you have your final passing marksheet or result before the admission process starts.

Most colleges will ask for proof that you have passed your Class 12 before giving final admission. So, if your result comes out in time, you won’t face any problem.

Hope it helps !

Hello there,

Yes, you can proceed with CLAT counselling if you pass through a supplementary exam , but there are important conditions:

  1. You must pass the supplementary exam before the final admission deadline set by the university/NLU.

  2. At the time of counselling, you may need to submit an undertaking or provisional admission request stating you'll submit the final result before the deadline.

  3. Each NLU may have its own policy , so check with the specific university you’re aiming for.

If your final marksheet is ready before the admission cut-off date , you should face no major issue.

Hello Karthik,

Yes, you can proceed with CLAT counselling after passing through supplementary exams , but there are some important points to note:

  • You must pass your Class 12 exams (including supplementary) before the final admission date of the university you are allotted.

  • During CLAT counselling, you may be asked to upload proof of qualification or undertaking stating that you will clear the exam before admission.

  • If the results of your supplementary exam are not declared before the admission deadline, the university may not allow you to join , even if you are allotted a seat.

Tip: Keep all documents ready and stay updated with the counselling and university admission timelines.
