Yeah you can give next time JEE mains but if you want to take admission in any IIT/NIT you have to give the board exam one more time.
Infact from previous years onwards CBSC will not consider your 12th percentage for calculation of your JEE rank but they want minimum 75% percentage inorder to take admission in any IIT'S/NIT'S but if you want to do your undergraduate course in any private college / Universities then you need to just focus on your Mains marks

If you want to take admission in NITs/IITs then 75%(for general/OBC) and 65% (for SC/ST category) is compulsory in the board exam.You can take admission in private colleges by qualifying their entrance exams.
