Yes you will need a stethoscope in BPharma course during your first year itself as it will be a prt of your training. You will be taught a lort of different things like checking the blood pressure, blood sugar level etc too incase someday you might need to use these skills. These skills will come in handy specially if you become a practitioner in  a village, suburban area or a small town. All the best!
