You definitely face some problems, if you study Biotechnology without having biology in 10+2 .

Biology in 12th is compulsory, if you want to get admission in B. tech biotechnology. Without having biology in 12th, you will not get admission in biotechnology. As, you have to pass in 12th exams with 55% marks in Physics Chemistry Maths & Biology.
