Can I study GME after B.tech mechanical engineering?

Educational Qualifications

B.E./ B.Tech degree holders in mechanical or naval architecture disciplines are eligible to pursue this course. Minimum marks criteria may exist in the case of some institutes. Generally, the minimum eligible score for admission lies between 50-60% aggregate marks in the B.E./ B.Tech program.

Medical/ Physical Standards

Candidates aspiring for the course need to be physically fit and capable of taking up seafaring roles. An unaided vision of 6/12 is required in each eye. Candidates should not be suffering from color or night blindness. Also, the candidate should not be over 28 years of age at the time of the course’s commencement.
