JEE Mains is a competitive exam that all student who are aspiring for engineering have to answer. It includes of 3 subject that are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

For chemistry,

It is strongly recommended that you have your foundation strong. Notes and study material from coaching classes will be helpful to some extent, but it is important that you learn and solve previous years questions and also take help of various referrence books such as S.Chand and R.D.Sharma and many more. Coaching classes notes vary on the information provided. When the papers are set for JEE Mains, an important criteria is that the questions difficulty is set so as to the student understands the question and is not something they can by heart but will have to think and solve.

Dear Aspirant,

You can use your coaching notes to clear all your basics and you might not need any other textbook for concepts. However, you still be needing some practice question book to implement those concepts in questions. You can avoid buying any textbooks, but you should definitely check out books which have a lot of questions in them. Especially, NCERTs, they are very good books and have very minor details about the concepts compiled in one book.

if anyone is teaching any coaching  centre so you should remember that they are teaching because they are expert in that field so still if they are providing you  any notes then definitely  you can do better with these notes but still if you want to do much better than book is needed for solving questions because notes will give you a theoretical knowledge but books will give you a question solving ability.
