Yes you can take direct admission in college without giving any entrance exam. As many colleges also take admission on merit basis. They will select you on the basis of your class 12th marks. Moreover , you didn't mentioned the course for which you are asking so it is also depends on the type course. For an example, if you want to get admission in MBBS course then you have to give entrance exam for that. You cannot get direct admission in MBBS.
