Hello candidate,

Any candidate who wishes to upgrade his seat in the counseling session 1 can go for options such as Slide, and float. In these options, you can get the option to lock your previously allotted seat temporarily and go for further upgradation in the upcoming rounds but provided any higher ranked seat is available for admission, in your specific category. If you will not get any further upgradation in these rounds, you will eventually get your previous seat.
