hello,
surely you can change your branch of engineering after 1 year. but you need to score the cgpa / dgpa cutoff criteria as per the university rule. for example some university need 1st year cgpa of 8.5 to change branch. hope you have understand.

Hello aspirant

It depends on your collage syllabus and management if seats are available in that particular branch then there is a chance for branch change.

If you are studying in private university then it depends on the syllabus of 1st year, at max same syllabus for all branches

hello,
surely you can change the branch after 1st year of be/ btech. but you need to score really well. CGPA/DGPA criteria of all universities are not same. however some university need 1st year aggregate score 8.5 to change from one branch to another.
