Wear light colour clothes like Jeans, Pant, Shirt (half sleeves only) (not wear anything which will create hindrance in frisking & could be used for hiding any communication devices). No. Jeans are not allowed. Light coloured half sleeved kurtas, low heeled sandals with palazzos are allowed. No leggings are allowed either. No shoes are allowed. Full armed clothing is not allowed. Any jewelry of whatsoever  material like gold, silver or any other metal are not allowed. This is for girls. For boys, half sleeved shirts with formal pants are allowed. No metal jewelry again is entertained. Also no shoes or sock. Only sandals are allowed for the exam.

This year, along with your Admit Card and Valid Id proof, you should also carry your Mask, Head gear, gloves and a sanitiser to be careful. Also take an passport size photographs along with your admit card. NTA released the following protocols:

  • Contact less frisking will be ensured.
  • Time slots will be staggered for Reporting to the exam
  • Contact less verification of documents
  • Candidates will have to carry a self declaration regarding their Corona free health status
  • Candidates with more than required body temperature will be allowed to take the exam in isolated rooms

And then you need to report to the exam hall atleast an hour before the exam for checking. And then regarding the dress code, either for girls or boys, it needs to be simple with no big buttons or embroidery or metal chains hanging. No jewelry of whatsoever metal will be allowed. And no watches or electronic gadgets will be allowed. Simple sandals are allowed but not shoes.

Hi Dear,

As per the regulations and dress code in NEET 2020 exam you are not allowed to wear denim jeans if you are a female candidate. However, if you are a male candidate you can wear light colored denim jeans. Moreover, It is advised to check the dress code instructions from following link before you go for exam:
