If you are already enrolled in full time Integrated M.tech course then I think it will be not possible to join a regular job as software engineer. However, you can start by doing freelancing work and projects outsourced by various organisation.

In cae the course you have joined is not full time you can definitely go ahead and start working as a software engineer.
