YES!

Engineering Students can write IIT JAM 2017.

IIT JAM is to take Admission in M. Sc./Ph.D. & other post graduate Exams.

By JAM Test you can apply for-

1)M. Sc. (Two Year)

2)Joint M. Sc. - Ph.D.

3)M. Sc. - Ph.D. Dual Degree

4)M. Sc. - M.Tech

5)Post - Bachelor Degree Courses at different IITs

6)Integrated Ph.D.

but i looked on official website ,and it it telling that you have to study at least 4 sem in physics to take msc.but in engineering there is only 2 semester with physics
