Hey Anuj! It doesn't matter where you are studying or in which year you were born if you satisfy all the eligibility criteria. According to National Testing Agency (NTA) students can appear in JEE Main twice a year in three consecutive years from the year of passing their class 12 exam. This makes JEE Main number of attempts to six in a span of three years.  Hope this may help you.

To be eligible for jee mains Candidate should have passed class 12 or qualifying the exam in 2018 or 2019. So if have passed your class 12th in 20119 or 2018 then you are eligible for jee mains even though if you are a first year engineering student. Also there is no age limit for jee mains , so you don't need to care about that as well.  So without any doubt you are eligible,  so prepare well and give your best shot in jee mains to get into your dream college.
