Giving  exam on laptop or desktop is more preferable and effective than on mobile phone. As the display is not big enough , it may create problems while giving the exam. Now the only thing is that , are you having a laptop or not. If yes , then you should attempt you examination on laptop. If no , then attempting on mobile phone is the only option.

Hello aspirant, you can give SRMJEE exam in your smartphone. The smartphone should have a working front camera and  you should have at least 2gb internet pack for giving exam. The test-takers will need to download a software on their mobile to take the test, and the link to download the same will be available on SRM University. However I will advise you to arrange for a laptop/ desktop for the exam as you will be more comfortable in giving the exam and also it will be more convenient as their are less chance of problems in computer than mobile and you should not take any chance during giving SRMJEE exam. Yu should take the mock test to test if you are comfortable in giving exam in mobile or you need a computer.

Yes, you can give the exam using your Mobile phone . You can also use your laptop/ computer. The exam is remote proctored online mode(RPOM). The candidate will have to download a safe examination browser to take the test, the link to which will be provided by the University. There are detailed guidelines which are needed to be followed. You should keep checking the official Web site regularly to stay updated.
Also, I would personally recommend you to give exam through laptop or use a monitor as it will be convenient for you.
