Dear student,

Light can easily pass through vacuum. And it can travel with a speed of 300000 km/ sec.
Now how light can travel though vacuum? The answers is light ahs both the particle and wave nature.
Because light has dual nature and it itself is an electromagnetic radiation composed of particles called photons. Most importantly, particledoes not need to interact with a medium.

So, light can easily travel through vacuum, though there must be certain refractive index but for vacuum it is approximately equal to 1.

Hello student light can travel through a vacuum—a completely airless space it does not need any matter or material to carry its energy along unlike sound and water waves. Nothing travels faster than light energy. It speeds through the vacuum of space at 186,400 miles (300,000 km) per second.

Feel free to comment if you've any doubt

Good luck
