can my parents not go for reporting in college

Hi Dharmjeet!

As far as I am concerned, it would be better if you will take your parents with you during the time of admission (reporting) to the college. However, it is totally your choice, but sometimes there would be a need to parents to sign on an important document. Also, they would be relieved  after seeing  their child safe, your accommodation place, security services, etc.
