Hello. You can show ews certificate as category certificate. Income certificate is different. So you will need to provide a payslip at the letter head with stamp of official authorities in it. There is no problem if you show or keep the category, income certificate incase of business or source of income to show during counselling.

EWS certificate and income certificate both are different.Income certificate is a document which gives the details about the family annual income from all sources while EWS certificate is a category certificate. You need to provide income certificate and EWS certificate separately if it is applicable. And the certificate must be a valid document issued by competent authority.It must be in the right order and format.
