Hey Pratip !
As far as hostel regulations are concerned in College of Medicine & JNM Hospital, you can do any preferential modifications as per their choice but it is required to inform the Hostel In charge beforehand and take the permission.
I would suggest you not to set up Broadband connection in your Hostel Room because over the course of duration in MBBS, there would be many times when you would have to change your hostel room be it yearly or for any particular reason, and then it would be quite difficult to manage the Connection of your WiFi.
