Yes, other state candidates can get admission into Jadavpur University for pursuing undergraduate engineering provided they score enough marks in WBJEE and secure a sufficient rank for getting admission into Jadavpur University and another prerequisite is that they need to have domicile for West Bengal, i.e, the candidate should be a resident of West Bengal for at least 10 years as on 31.12.2018 or the parents of the candidates have to be permanent residents of West Bengal with a permanent residential address in West Bengal. If the above prerequisites are met, only then admission is possible in Jadavpur University or other government engineering colleges in West Bengal.
