IF you have been preparig for the exam, then this would definitely boost up confidence in you. But if you haven't  and also if you are just an average student,then my advice would to just stay away from those papers as you must already that gaining confidence is difficult but loosing confidence is really easy. It may also last to dippression in some cases

Ofcourse.....it will develop confidence in you...solving papers will show your preparations..how much you are prepared for the exam..
