Accommodation of eye -

Near vision accommodation -
1. ciliary body contracts
2. suspensory ligaments relax
3. focussing power of lens is increased

Far vision accommodation  -
1. ciliary body relaxes
2. suspensory ligaments contract (tensed)
3. focussing power of lens is increased
