There are 3 counselling processes in JEE Main – JoSAA, CSAB NEUT and CSAB SFTI. 

You must be knowing all about JoSAA. So let me tell you about CSAB

CSAB NEUT is conducted for supernumerary seats in North East and Union Territories.CSAB SFTI is separate counselling procedure conducted by Central Seat Allocation Board for 18 SFTIs.

CSAB NEUT - It is conducted for filling up supernumerary seats in North East Region and Union Territories.The counselling would be organized by the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB). The counselling for all the qualified candidates of North East region and Union Territories will commence in June 2019.

CSAB SFTI - It is conducted for admitting candidates in Self Financing Technical Institutes.Seat allocation is strictly based on order of preference filled by the candidates based on their JEE Main All India Rank (AIR) in Paper I and Paper II respectively.There are 34 participating institutes in CSAB SFTI. 

For CSAB SFTI the registration will start tentatively from July 26, 2019 after the conclusion of JoSAA Counseling.
