Hope you are doing well. You can perform surgery after doing post graduation (i.e., MS/MD). Ayurvedic doctor now perform 58 types of surgery in all around India .
it take about 23 year to Ayurvedic hospital for making well developed infrastructure so now future of Ayurveda is bright.
I think the cost of Ayurvedic surgery is less than Morden surgery , but some type of Morden technology and medical can be use in Ayurvedic surgery And its not more harmful and there are no side effects in surgery.


You can pursue MD only in:-
Panchkarma,
Gynecology,
Pediatric,
General Medicine (Kayachikitsa),
Pathology,
Swasthvrutta,
Rasshastra and Bhaisajyakalpana,
Charak samhita,
Shalakya Tantra etc.

Hey aspirant , for surgeries you have to so M. S. Then you will be able to perform surgeries. There are different colleges in India where M. S courses are available.
