Hello 

PhD is usually done after the masters course and if you have done MA in rural development then going on for PhD in rural development is the best idea for you if you have interest in the course and the field as well. PhD is available for 3-5 years which can help you reach out NGOs,rural banking,policy framing and similar sort of jobs with an average salary of 18,000-20,000 per month.
