Hello Aspirant
Yes you can join in Nit by using jEE mains marks.you should reach more than the cutoff for which Nit you are choosing for .but the official cutoff of jEE mains is not released.it is released on the month of April by national testing agency NTA.

For Nits based on rank the College cutoff is decided.
You can go through once the below link to know the previous year cutoff for top NITS:
