can we take a bag along with us and keep it at the exam centre as I have to repot quiet far away from my house?

Hey Prakhar !
Although it has already been mentioned in the notices of respective websites that you are allowed to take a bag with you, but in no circumstances should the bag be kept inside the examination hall.
You can keep it outside the room but then again, the conducting authority or the in charge of the examination centre won't be responsible if any of your belongings are misplaced.
Hence it's better advised not to keep a bag with you.
However, you can keep some amount of money with you in order to bear the transportation charges while returning.

Hello Prakhar, you can always request the security guard to keep your bag with him and look after it till the exam is over. But I think you are allowed to keep your bag at the campus main entrance gate. In JEE Advanced exams, the bags are kept at the main entrance gate only, so I suppose same should be the case in AIIMS too.
