It's very important to understand what exam you are going to attempt

If it's mains then you have to clear of concepts very well.

You have to solve as much as questions you can on different topics.

You have to identify in what topics you are weak, you have to improve them.

You have to solve a lot of previous years questions.

Then you can finally give a good exam and can pass it with good exams.

But most important thing is consistency, and the time management, you have to prepare your time table as if someday you miss studies for any reason that don effect you a lot.
