   Aircraft Maintenance Engineering AME course is regulated by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India. Head quartered in New Delhi, DGCA is a regulatory body in the field of Civil Aviation that primarily deals with safety issues.

 The age limit to be eligible for the exam should be between 16 to 28 years at the time of admission. Candidate should possess three years Diploma in any stream that should be recognised by Central / State Govt. Candidates can apply for AME CET only three times
