There are about 50 colleges in Tamil nadu which offer Bachelor of architecture. It is a five years course with ten semester which has subjects from the field of engineering, arts and technology. 

The admission process is through the scores obtained in NATA entrance examination (national aptitude test in architecture). This examination has two parts, written test and drawing test. The syllabus written test is based on mathematics and general aptitude. The drawing test is based on drawing of patterns, 2D and 3D View of objects etc. 

The fees structure ranges between Rs.1,50,000 to Rs.5,00,000 depending on the college or university.
