Hey Amit.

See there is a huge scope for the core branch like ELECTRICAL ENGG. but u should be able to identify that one. U can clear GATE for u to get a job in the good PSUs like BHEL , SAIL , ONGC , IOCL and many others. 

If u want to join in the private sector then u have to be compact for that. U should be knowing some kind of automation or programming for better job selection. In private sector profit is the only parameter so u have to be having some qualities.
