dear aspirant,

cast validity is not actually essential but if you have a category certificate then the cutoff for the same would be lower as compared to the UR category so chances of you getting a college would be higher.

Yes if you have caste certificate u can get a seat through reservations.Your fees would be less and admission would be easier.
