Both must be given an attempt, also recommend you to appear for CMAT and GMAT, doesnt matter if your core well or not, you have nothing to loose as they are widely accepted by colleges.

I would prefer cat for better B school and through Best B school you would get best teaching methodology , knowledge , opportunities for your future.
