Chaudhary Charan Singh University formerly known as Meerut University is a public state university in Uttar Pradesh. It is affiliated to UGC. The university is also approved by ICAR for providing B.SC agriculture. Candidates who want to take admissions in the UG and PG courses must go through the CCS University courses offered. Yes, the ICAR approved CCS University-Meerut for the provision of B.Sc Agriculture. This university was called the University of Meerut earlier. This university is also recognised by UGC, DBT, DST, AICTE, UPSTC, CSIR, in addition to ICAR. CCSU is an ICAR recognised university and the Chaudhary Charan Singh University of Merut is successfully running several ICAR projects.
