Dear Rajni,

Chemical Engineering is one of the well known courses in B.Tech . To get admission in engineering colleges , you need to appear for that individual entrance exam for that relevant college/institute . Every entrance exam has it's unique eligibility criteria , i.e. some exams just takes admission on the basis of exam score only, some requires the 12th percentage as a basic eligibility criteria, In some cases , 25% weitage is also taken with 75% weitage of exam score .

So, as an average .. you need to score well(aggregate55-60% and above ... can vary institute to institute ) in your 12th to get priority of getting chances to get good colleges at earliest.

Hope this information helps !
