I believe your Question is with reference to Competitive Exams. Any Exam, where there is a Chemistry Section, you may assume 1/3rd of the Chemistry Questions to be from Inorganic Chemistry. In my Time when I appeared for JEE, it was a trend out of 30 Chemistry Questions, 10 would surely be from Inroganic with questions from Coordination Chemistry, SPDF Block, Surface Chemistry and Chemical Bonding.
