The Kerala class 8 Christmas Examination is conducted by the respective schools based on the SCERT syllabus.

The subjects covered are Malayalam, English, Maths, Hindi/Sanskrit, Science, Social Science, ICT, GK. The paper consists of MCQ, SQ, LQ and diagram based questions.
