The minimum percentage required in Class 12 varies based on the college type, location and admission process. Some colleges accept admission through the central level entrance test, the state level entrance test and their own entrance test. Whereas some institutes provide merit-based admission. For such merit-based admissions, the minimum percentage may go high for the general category more than 90% for some colleges. Whereas some colleges can provide admissions at 50% marks as well.
