Dear student,

During the medieval times, feudalism helped the land and people were prospered. But they received no major outside help, besides trade.

There were also many changes during medieval times in religious beliefs leading to worship of new deities, the construction of temples by royalty and the growing importance of Brahmanas, the priests, as dominant groups in society.
In medieval times there was differences in the society led to the grouping of the people into jatis or sub-castes which were ranked based on their backgrounds and occupations. The ranks kept changing at different areas and time periods based on the power, influence and resources controlled by the members of the jati.
Thesocial changesin themedieval times in India were mainly due to economic developments, such as large scale transfers of land revenues and land to both secular and religious elements, decline of trade and commerce, peasants and traders, unequal distribution of land amd power. Also due to high tax payment by the farmers or peasants.
