Dear student,

In medieval time, womenhad many domesticresponsibilities, including caring for children, preparing food, and tending livestock. During the harvesting time of the crops, theyoften joined their husbands in the field to bring in the crops.

During the 5th century to the 15th century, women held the positions of wife, mother, peasant, artisan, and nun, as well as some important leadership roles, such as abbess or queen. They also washed clothes, baked bread, milked cows, fed animals, brewed beer and collected firewood. In the medieval times some women also work as spinners, brewers, jewelers, parchment makers and glovers. Also, sometimes if her husband died then she carry on his trade.
