There is no comparing Engineering and Architecture. 

If you like the science stuff, you can go for Civil engineering and if you are into designing stuff, you can go for Architecture. 

Both of them have good scope but don't expect to get a job just because of the degree. It's your knowledge that would matter. You need to work hard in both the streams. In terms of placement, Civil Engineering has quite less comparatatively.
