Computer engineering and softwear engineering is same or not

Computer science engineering covers all aspects of a computer software, hardware, networking etc. Whereas software engineer covers only the software part.
If you are interested in software engineering you should choose IT instead of CSE because that is much more software oriented. You can also choose software engineering as your career with CSE also.

Subject wise both are same
In both you will be learning about software
In CSE you will learning about hardware
Whereas In software you will be learning about software

No both  are differentent. Because CS engineering deals with designing developing, and operating computer systems. ... Computer  Science (CS) focuses on understanding, designing, and developing programs and computers.
