In sports quota a fixed number of seats are reserved for the sports persons who have played at a certain levels in any sports . Like if you have played nationals or represented your state or district in any game than you are eligible for sports quota and you must have to have the certificates of the games you have played. Like if you are seeking admission in DU they have following criteria for admission in sports quota..

There is 5% reservation of seats for candidates under ECA/ Sports quota in DU colleges.

They take admissions for ECA category on the basis of merit which will be determined through marks earned by a candidate under following headers/categories:

• Certificates (25% weightage)

• Trials (75% weightage)

Trials will be conducted at two levels:

• Preliminary trials

• Final trials
