The authorities have announced the seat allotment result for CSAB UT 2019 on August 10.

CSAB 2019 for SFTIs will not be conducted this year due to minimum participation of SFTIs. National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli has previously declared the first and second allotment of CSAB NEUT and CSAB Special Round in online mode.

Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) conducts counselling and admission of all the JEE Main qualified candidates in NITs, IIITs and CFTIs. The admission process of CSAB 2019 are for institutes which fall under category of NEUT (for North-Eastern States and Union Territories), SFTI (Self Financed Technical Institutes) and for Supernumerary Seats in Union Territories. Separate rounds are held each for NEUT, special round and Supernumerary seats.

The counselling of CSAB 2019 is held after the conclusion of final round of JoSAA 2019. The final round of JoSAA 2019 seat allotment has been concluded on July 19. Candidates are required to register in online mode for participating in CSAB 2019.

It is important that candidates first check the complete eligibility criteria of all the channels and then only proceed to fill the application form of CSAB 2019 through the respective channel. Those candidates who registered for CSAB have to fill their choice of colleges and courses in the order of their preference. The seat allotment of CSAB 2019 will be done on candidates’ JEE Main merit, choice filling and seat availability.
