See, the package you get offered depends on a variety of factors:

1. Your college. Higher reputed colleges attract better companies which, in turn, provide better and higher-paying jobs.
2. Your grades. At the end of the day, companies look for skilled workers who can work with maximum efficiency.
3. Your stream. Generally, streams like Computer Engineering and Electrical engineering receive higher packages.

Also, you should go for the stream you are interested and are skilled in. If you are good at what you do, you do not have to worry about jobs.
